It’s just the first week of November, but online retailers are already throwing out a slew of aggressive deals, hoping to catch your attention before…duh-duh-duh…Black Friday. One thing to remember about online deals in November: Black Friday-type deals come early, so if you sit on a great deal hoping it will go lower, you just might miss your best chance now! (And don’t forget to drop by our Black Friday hub for the latest great deals!)
Here are 10 deals of the week (Nov. 2 to Nov. 8) that you really liked or we thought were pretty good… and are actually still valid:
1. 10 Bucks for Free
Here’s the deal. Macy’s wants you to shop with them, so they’re gonna give you a $10 eGift Card for free. What’s the catch? You have to give them your name, email address and cell phone number so they can text you the code. If you’re OK ordering online at Macy’s, then you’re OK filling out the form.
Expiration: 11/17.
2. Get $200 For Your Old iPad
Trade in your old iPad and Target will give you a minimum $200 towards the purchase of a new one. Some people are reporting that the $200 can be spent on any kind of purchase at Target, but local store policies may differ. It’s a good deal for an iPad 1 or 2; after that, not so much.
Expiration: 11/9.
3. I Say Zig You Say Zag
Jimmy Jazz is currently selling several styles of Reebok Zig and RealFlex running shoes for the low price of $35 shipped. These love-em-or-hate-em shoes are typically found for around $60 or more.
Expiration: 11/9.
4. The Force Is With This Deal
You’ll need a little bit of The Force to get the Fitbit Force Wireless Activity + Sleep Wristband for $95 shipped from Brookstone. Fear not, young Padawan, read these instructions on how to save $35 off the retail price.
Expiration: Limited time.
5. Woolly Mammoth
The Sportier Wool-Blend Military Style Men’s Jacket for $22 shipped with code from The Sportsman’s Guide has been super popular since we posted it, and even better, you will actually not be ashamed to wear it out in public.
Expiration: 11/12.
6. Timely Deal
Right now, you can pick up the Seiko SNE095 Solar Men’s Watch for $70 shipped with special code from World of Watches. That’s over 20% off Amazon’s already good price for this watch. No batteries required.
Expiration: Limited time.
7. Just Do the Free Shipping
Nike Store typically runs this promotion at this time of year: get free shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase requirement. Shipping is normally $8 and the free shipping requirement is $75. Now you can feel free to buy just one pair of clearance socks. (Here are some clearance highlights.)
Expiration: 12/23.
8. Getting a Little Toasty in Here
Columbia’s gotten a lot of attention for its heated Omni-Heat Thermal Electric Jackets which provide the wearer with three levels of heat (powered by lightweight batteries) and reduce the number of layers that you have to wear. This high-end outerwear is on sale for 50% off, plus you can get an additional 40% off with special code and a $30 eGift Card to boot.
Expiration: 11/11.
9. The Next Best Thing to Free Bacon…
… is a free bacon cookbook (eBook) from Amazon. Hey, it’s bacon. ‘Nuff said.
Expiration: Limited time.
10. Ultrabook at a Laptop Price
You don’t normally see thin-and-light ultrabooks under $400, but Microsoft has the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 4th Generation Haswell Celeron 11.6″ Touch Ultrabook Laptop on pre-order for $349 with free shipping. It’s not the sleekest ultrabook out there, but it also won’t break the bank.
Expiration: Limited time.
